Looking Back at C-ID Summer Cinema 2024
This August, the Seattle Asian American Film Festival transformed Hing Hay Park into an open-air cinema for C-ID Summer Cinema 2024, filling the heart of Seattle’s Chinatown-International District with laughter, music, and the magic of movies.
Each Saturday evening, neighbors, friends, and families gathered with picnic blankets and snacks to enjoy free outdoor movies and live performances, celebrating Asian American stories and diverse cultural experiences.
Our 2024 lineup featured a mix of films that brought the community together:
• Polite Society 《文明社会》
• Raya and the Last Dragon 《寻龙传说》
• The Donut King 《甜甜圈大王》
• Lilo & Stitch 《星际宝贝》
We’re incredibly grateful to our sponsors, partners, and all who came out to support this summer tradition. Thank you for making C-ID Summer Cinema 2024 a season to remember. We can’t wait to welcome you back next year for more movie magic and community fun in 2025!
